Hazel Moore, Managing Partner
Hazel founded FirstVentures in 2005, having previously co-founded its parent company FirstCapital which is a UK based corporate finance adviser specialising in fund raising, strategic advisory and M&A services to high growth technology companies in 1999. Prior to this Hazel worked for Asian institutional stockbroking firm WI Carr in a variety of roles including Head of Equity Research based in Hong Kong. Hazel is a Chartered Financial Analyst, and has a BA and an MA in Natural Sciences (Materials Science and Metallurgy) from the University of Cambridge. Hazel is a board member of Powerlase.

Peter Wolfers, Partner
Peter joined FirstVentures in 2005. Peter was previously a founder director of FNI Venture Capital, which is the venture capital fund of the Nixdorf family, in 2000. Before this Peter was VP Marketing for Incases, a German EDA company, and his earlier career encompassed various senior strategic marketing and technical roles with IBM and Lockheed. Peter is currently a board director of Ranier and Intense and a board observer at Antenova.

Amer Vohora, Vice President
Amer joined FirstVentures in 2005, having previously worked for FirstCapital since December 2000. Before this he undertook a number of technical and engineering roles in several technology start-up companies. Amer has a postgraduate diploma in Advanced Design, Manufacturing and Management from the University of Cambridge, a BEng and BCom in Manufacture Engineering with Commerce and Japanese from Birmingham University and spent a year studying at Kansai University, Osaka, Japan.
