Ranier Technology Limited Announces Appointment of Spine Industry Veteran John Moran to Board of Directors

Ranier Technology Limited, a medical device company currently developing the CAdisc artificial disc implant, is pleased to announce that John C. Moran has been appointed to its Board of Directors. Mr. Moran brings over 25 years of executive level management experience in the orthopedics and spinal implants industry to Ranier.
During a twenty year career with Synthes (USA), Mr. Moran served as President of Synthes Spine from 1990-97, where he was responsible for the creation of the Spine division, development of the franchise and delivery of dramatic revenue growth. Prior to that, he served in a variety of executive management roles in Synthes (USA) including marketing, product development, regulatory affairs, finance and administration, overseeing significant strategic, commercial and operational expansion in North America. Mr. Moran also served on the Board of Directors of Spine Solutions, Inc. until its sale in 2003.

Mr. Moran is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and holds an MBA from Harvard University. He currently is also a member of the Board of Directors of Paradigm Spine, LLC and Advanced Biomaterials Systems, Inc.
